ABOUT US
Welcome to Dease Lake Airport serving communities, resource sector industries, commercial and private aviation operators in the far northwest of BC. Located in the Golden Triangle of mining and mineral exploration, YDL is a significant regional hub for worker and cargo transportation. Proud of its recently repaved asphalt runway, YDL offers a 6000 feet landing facility for propeller and jet aircraft as well as for helicopter operations.

Groundside Infrastructure & Environmental Improvement Project
We’d love your input on a proposed improvement project at Block 5 of Dease Lake Airport.

The project would:

Remove unsafe structures left from a former tenant

Clean up old and unused fuel materials

Expand and pave part of the apron (within current airport property)
-
Add space for additional aircraft parking

Improve safety for ground operations

Deliver environmental benefits to airport lands
